I have a favorite blanket. It’s blue microfiber and filled with feathers. It has a tag on it that talks about how to wash it in a machine.
I’ve washed it many times, according to these very directions. Gentle setting, blah blah blah. It’s been really nice having a front-load washer with the “hand wash” setting.
Oh wait a minute. I HAD a favorite blanket.

I used to have a favorite black jacket too.....

My daughter has that same blanket.
Oh wow, feather mess.
Wow. Was it the front end loader that killed it?
*gasp*
Thanks for the laughs - much needed today! This kind of stuff happens to me and is why I don't have to do laundary in my house. I know, sounds like an elaborate scheme, but its not.
WTF????
Kathy - I don't have that blanket anymore. *sniff*
Mel - I think a dog chewed a hole in it. THAT is what effectively did it in.
D - I know, I know. Good thing I have my big red fuzzy blanket to take its place!
W - I'm convinced that I'm purposely trying to get out of laundry duty. My other transgressions include shrinking my husband's wool sweater from big guy size to 6-9 month size and his white work shirt is now pink. :)
S - Damn dogs. Can't live with 'em, can't kill 'em.
